Position:  Inside Sales Coordinators - Houston, TX

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the review of quotes and contracts received from a District Manager, processing of the same through engineering, drafting, manufacturing, shipment, with follow up on job related issues after delivery.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in PEMB area preferred.
  • Strong customer/sales relationship skills. Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to deliver results, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize while under constraints from customers.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
  • Effective PC skills required (Microsoft Office), knowledgeable of internet file transfer and file conversion techniques.

Supervision Received:

The Sales Coordinator / Project Manager will report to the Sales Service Manager.

Position Requirements:

The Sales Coordinator / Project Manager will:

  • Generates purchase orders based on levels set in inventory management system.
  • Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Periodically reviews min-max material inventory levels to ensure they are adequate.
  • Reviews turns and eliminates stock before inventory trends are down.
  • Combine pricing with appropriate mark-ups depending on competition and market conditions. Provide cost data for approval to sales and Management.
  • Work directly with suppliers / vendors in obtaining estimates for products / services, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure best pricing and order preference is received.
  • Recommend 'make/buy' decisions and offer input regarding vendor performance.
  • Provides analytics to management.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Position:  Sales Administrative Assistant - Houston, TX

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical task for our Sales and Estimating departments. Duties include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, covering other entry level positions, and managing our company's general administrative activities.

Required Experience:

  • Excellent time management skills while prioritize workload
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimum guidance
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel, in particular)

  • Organize luncheons, Company functions and gatherings
  • Manage website emails
  • Direct customer inquiries to proper personnel

Position:  Senior Detailer/Checker - Houston, TX

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Engineered Metal Building Experience
  • AutoCAD experience a must
  • Experience with Metal building software (MBS) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Trigonometry is a MUST
  • Knowledge of Steel metal buildings is helpful.
  • Capable of interpreting architectural drawings and design engineer notes to efficiently and accurately prepare shop drawings.

Position:  Drafting Detailer - Portland, TN

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares approval, permit or construction drawings and shop fabrication drawings, and bill of materials for Pre-Engineered Metal building systems.

  • Use of AutoCAD to create drawings based on 2D, notes from engineers and field measurements
  • Knowledge of Trigonometry is a MUST
  • Update/modify drawings in its completed or in process stages
  • Create and process Bill of Materials

Position:  Steel Fabricators - Portland, TN

United Structures of America is looking to hire full time Welders, Fitters and Steel fabricators.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities:
To be considered for position, you must pass pre-employment testing. Must be 18 years of age Must be to do heavy lifting, stand for long period of time Have a good work history and references Have a good attendance and work record Reliable Transportation This is a production classification and employees work indoors (in all seasons) with exposure to heat, cold, noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds and pull approximately 20 lbs. Need to have the ability to ascend and descent a ladder and/or scaffolding.

Position:  District Sales Manager

Job Description:  District Sales Manager positions are available in several prime areas throughout the country.   Applicant must be self-motivated with a proven track record.  Excellent compensation package including salary, commission, car allowance and 401k.

Requirements:  Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience in your current area.  Knowledge and ability to properly interpret architectural plans and specifications.  Familiarity with metal building pricing systems and basic computer skills such as MS Word, MS Excel and Portable Document Files (PDF).
